                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Youth and the 2030 Agenda
Youth development issues are integrated in all the SDGs, even where not explicitly outlined e.g.
health and wellbeing are key for young people, and young people tend to be disproportionally
affected by poverty and inequality. However, there are some specific targets related to youth.
For example, skills and jobs for youth feature prominently and are explicitly mentioned,
particularly SDGs 4 and 8.

Food security – an essential and pervasive theme across the SDGs .While SDG2 focuses on ending hunger, reducing food insecurity and improving nutrition, elements related to food security can be found in all 17 SDGs. Twelve SDGs contain indicators related to nutrition. As food security is a complex concept that includes multiple development-related elements, it is not surprising that achieving food security would help achieve the SDGs in general and progress in the other 16 SDGs would contribute to food security.
